German Speeders members are all using geared 36" as far as i know (they
are sponsored by Schlumpf, they may have other wheels too)

Team NZUni are all riding ungeared 36" unicycles, although I think they
have a 29" schlumpf with them which may get some use depending on the
terrain.

I'm pretty sure that NZUNI is all straight up cokers. Then Texacali I
think is a mix.

one quick newb question.
i dont understand how the racing itself works.
the teams all came in at different times yesterday.
how does that affect today's ride? do they all start at the same time
and just their times are added together or is it that the teams who
came in first yesterday started first today? or is it something
completely different?

From the FAQ:
All teams will start out every day at the same time. The times for each
day, time trial, and Criterium will be added together to determine the
total time and therefore the winner.

I double checked with NZUni what they were using today. Ken was on his
diet coker, Will was riding his 36" (with the new night rider tyre and
stealth pro rim). Tony was riding a 29" schlumpf (with the road hub
rather than muni hub).

Second place for the second day running :)
