Round 2 just started and it is quite cool to see all the teams so close
together. It clear some teams are just going hard right from the get
go, while you can see other teams are either holding off or are tired
from yesterday.

German speeders in first, followed closely by texacali and Smile
holding up third!

At 10:15 AST (GMT-4) the race looks like this. In order:
Personal Rollercoaster
German Speeders
Team NZUNI
Smile
TEXACALI ( not Mexicali)
Lost Wheelers
Totally Doable
UFO
Centurions
Hans Islanders.

We are getting some light rain here. Could be a little lightning later,
but I think the race will be out of the zone with luck. Check
Intellicast for the extreme right coast of USA ( Berlin, I think the
station is, and check the radar to see current weather over NS.

Had another GPS wrinkle about an hour ago for 30 minutes, but all is up
and hot now. Race going across a virtually unpopulated piece of road in
the middle of Nova Scotia. Cell phone coverage will be spotty. No
damage of any kind to report. Good time after the race last night.
Still hunting down finishing times for teams arriving after 7:20 AST.
Will post here as the news becomes available.

Best,
William

Thanks for the "in race" commentary. If a race like this ever happens
again, there needs to be somebody giving regular updates, especially
during the race. There is has been virtually nothing posted on the
official website---nice looking website, but not much information.

Thanks for keeping those of us who couldn't make it NS in the action.
We appreciate any tidbits we can get :)

Like me, I'm sure many people appreciate your posts William. I've
started checking this thread for updates before any other sources :)
