    Annand JC (1986) "Denatured bovine immunoglobulin pathogenic in atherosclerosis." Atherosclerosis,
    vol. 59, no. 3 (Mar.), pp. 347-351.

    Anand looks at the epidemiological evidence but also provides a reasonable physiological mechanism,
    especially in light of more recent studies implicating inflammation/free radical damage to be at the
    heart (pardon the pun) of "chronic diseases" such as CHD.
