It's not your imagination -- it's FoodNetwork's lack of it *laugh*
They are going to to burn her (and us) out on Rachel Ray Shows. Interestingly
of her 3 shows only 1 is actually a cooking show (although it's aired at least
3x a day). They sort of did this same burn-out thing to Sara for a while
there-- she was sporting a few shows and several hours a day of network
time. I think they'd have plastered Emeril to several shows if he had been
versatile enough (well there was that attempt at a sit-com for him *rolls
eyes*). I like RR and I think she is a very talented lady- FN seems to agree.
I guess their philosophy is get it *all* while it's hot.
Burn out is imminent, though. I already have luke-warm feelings about Inside
Dish and 40 dollars a day. They both seem like filler-fluff shows to me- one
is basically an advertisement for the tourist industry ( like who couldn't get
by on 40$ a day for one person? Seriously-- *laughs* how about 40 bucks for 2
people? Then we'd be talking some real smackaletti) and ID is just another
*talk show* venue for actors although it does have its own little twist (sorta
amazing how many actors have their own restaurants-- I'd kinda like ta see
Clint Eastwoods alleged (chuckles) *handicap-access* at Mission Ranch for
myself-- can we do that FN?)
