I think a big part of why I ride, is that I like to -encourage- these
foolish remarks-that the people saying them think are so clever-just so
I can verbally body-slam their asses back to reality with my ultra fast
and waaaay more clever and inventive comebacks! ;););)

Kinda reminds me of this: (fun starts at 2:30)

A couple of days ago there was a group of 10-12 middle aged kids waiting
for a school bus about a half block from where I rode by. A chorus of
unsynchronized and dissimilar comments arose and, in the din, I heard
words like "unicycle," "wheel," "guy," and a variety of things that
made it clear they were shouting to me. All of it was in a positive
tone and I waved at the group as I rode by.

Today as I rode by that area the same group of kids was out waiting for
the bus. This time they erupted with a well rehearsed and timed, "hey,
unicycle guy" in perfect synchronization. That was pretty cool.

On the way home, I heard a voice saying, "nice, I like," with the same
accent and intonation as Borat. I looked around and saw a guy giving me
the right-on, closed fist salute from a car. He -looked- just like
Borat, also.

As I was finishing my MUni ride today, a group of hikers who had asked
me earlier where my other wheel was, noticed my 36er in the back of my
SUV as I opened the back hatch. One guy looked in and said..."Oh,
-there's- your other wheel!" :D

"How do you get off that?".... after a short pause another voice, "How
do you get on that?"

I showed how with my Nimbus 36. The two lads enjoyed the demo.
