    Okay, you have a choice.

1 - Barbell, weights, and a chin/dip facility, but no bench or rack.

2 - barbell, weights, and a bench, but no chin/dip and no rack.

    What do you do?

[a] Why no power cage? That would solve a lot of issues.

[b] If left with no choice, I would probably choose number 1. With a
chin/dip stand, I can still do weighted dips to replace bench press,
plus I would have the option of weighted chins.

Current workout area is not big enough to accommodate the seven foot
bar, although am currently wrangling over the possibility of
launching a territorial attack, to create a bit of lebensraum in the
dining room, which would be annihilated in the process.

I got a cute bench that looks like furniture. It's acceptable in a
    living space. It's this one:

It helps that a.) my room is gold already and b.) I'm a chick.

The problem with these sorts of benches is that they simply aren't
rated to hold enough weight to make them useful for someone who isn't
    a chick. I weigh 225lbs and I simply can't imagine trusting a
"Incline Bench Toning Package" to hold my prodigious bulk and the
weight that I would want to press (and I don't even press that much).

Unfortunately the benches that are likely to hold an adult male and
enough weight to make pressing interesting do *not* look like
    furniture.

    BAWAHAHAHA etc....

A what? A "chick"? Not buy any stretch of the imagination - a fat old
    biddy maybe!

Speak English, Chuck. WTF is a 'biddy'?

Oh, nice pic, BTW. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! You look like you've been
drinking stem cells for the last 20 years. I know the UK is a dark and
dreary place, but you should visit a tanning bed every once in a while.

    Not me.

I still need to do assisted chins and I can
do dips off the side of the bench. I'd want a bench and dumbbells. You
can do one arm rows for back with the bench and dumbbells or rig up some
cheap tubing on a door for rows or lat pulldowns. Bench would win over
chin/dip every time, in my world.

If one is not able to really use chin/dip facility.

But I'd want a rack for squats. I'd take a rack over a bench if I had to.

You prefer good looking legs instead of muscular torso? Strange. 😉

Anyway, I'd go for bar chins and dips. Workout would prolly be something
like front squats alternated with deadlifts and something easy one day,
chins and dips second day, and clean&press plus whatever third day.
    Twice a week.
