I race age category 40+ and can climb with the group and usually the break, but when there are quick accelerations in a break, I have problems responding 😠 . After the acceleration, I can usually motor back to the break, but I burn alot of reserves doing so. When I bridge, if there is another immediate acceleration it often results in my being dropped from the break. When I train, I incorporate hills sprints and 30-60-90 (seconds) 10-15 pedal stroke accelerations into my climbing intervals depending on the type of interval planned for that day. Any ideas????

I think somebody said '' No pain, no gain ''
Do that make sense?
