I will hopefully get my "hydration pack" tomorrow. I would like to test it tomorrow as well, by running 5.6 miles (my standard distance to bookstore and back) with it and drinking from the tube etc.
Is this a good idea to run for 5.6 miles, given that I have a race on Sunday. Or should I run less.
Save your legs bro, it won't add to your fitness to run this week. If you don't walk on Thurs, Fri, or Sat, then you may even have some gylycogen in your legs on Sunday. On second thought, if you truely want to test doing the 'race' while burning fats only, then go ahead and run and do your normal walking, maybe even more than normal, to make sure your glycogen reserves are completely gone.
