Who is lucky enough to ride on flat pavement with no wind?! I wish I
were! If so, I'd likely average 17-18 mph. As it is in the real world
in which I ride, rolling terrain with light to moderate wind, I'd
typically average upper 15s to low 16s if I weren't pushing the pace,
just cruising along as you say. Road bike only - would be much slower
on a heavier MTB.
