I have a pizza stone, two in fact, but there are times when I don't feel
like waiting for the pizza stone to heat up. I only use them when I make
homemade pizza, which isn't very often since it's so much trouble.
With frozen pizza I don't think it really matters how you cook them,
unless you do something stupid and try to microwave them. I tried out the
Pizzazz oven on a regular frozen pizza and it does work. It basically heats
the top from above and cooks the crust by heating the pan directly from below,
like a pizza stone. The pan gets extremely hot. I won't say it came out
better than a regular oven but it certainly didn't come out any worse. It
tasted like a regular frozen pizza. It's suppose to be able to cook homemade
pizzas too. I haven't tried it though. The biggest advantage is you don't
have to preheat it, which saves time, and it doesn't heat up the kitchen.

Having had a mother who hated to cook, I understand somebody liking
prepared food. Have a rich friend who did an 80,000 dollar kitchen reno
and doesn't like to cook, either. Always had frozen pizza there.
Always wondered what went wrong in the cooking of them. Then when
Costco had some samples of a frozen pizza, I realized it wasn't the
cooking/heating, it was the pizza. I used to drive 11 miles for the
best pizza but the pizza place's reputation was ruined when they changed
the pizza plus used machine made crusts - competing with the 2 for 1, 3
for 1 generation of pizza lovers. I think I would rather steal frozen
peas from the freezer to munch on rather than forego the opportunity of
having home-made pizza (dough made in bread machine anytime you want -
allowing 45 minutes to be perfect and ready) - then shredding cheese as
the stone warms - watching the crust explode under 500 degrees creating
the creators of a moonscape as red lava tomato sauce flow into the
valleys, direction impeded or stopped by strips of green/red bell
peppers or chunks of yellow pineapple on a bed of gravel-sized chopped
ham. In the last 10 minutes of cooking the shredded cheese is sprinkled
on top like falling snow mirroring the beautiful of our Earth's moon
surface as it melts to perfection with only a few golden brown patches
    of visual impurity.
