As your shoulder strkes the object, it will deflect as the flesh
compacts, your collarbone flexes and your torso twists, possibly even
more deflection if your collarbone busts.
The decelleration will be spaced out along the "travel" from when your
shoulder first touches the object until it has brought your whole body
to a stop.
There's no easy way to calculate this...it all depends on the depth of
your body's "crumple zone."
