Tom Sherman - Here, not there.
Hey Tom. When I heard about the Mag Train wreck in Germany I thought about
you because your post some time ago was the first time I'd heard of it. I'm
still hoping for a coast to coast mag train that I could load up with my
SUV,cameras, bikes, kayaks, skis, and camping gear that would take me from
place to place and river to river. I hate to seem like a fun hog, but when
you've got it (you know what I mean) why not do it?
I see you and Ed are still holding down the fort here with a whole new cast
of semi-odd characters covering the usual subjects such as how to masturbate
and other equally helpful ideas.
The Nitro Sled or whatever it is you linked to, looks to be a FWD Sunset
without an ingestible seat. I seem to recall pointing out that the Sunset
was neat bike, but really needed to be a FWD. I think you should get into
one of these things and post a ride report so I can tell if I was right
about the FWD.
Tomorrow I'm off to Utah for three weeks of Moab, the Colorado River with
as many canyons as I can get to plus a few hot springs and such. Sure could
use a Mag Train. But until that day comes if you see a two car caravan
coming through your town looking like the Beverly Hillbillies headed west
it's probably us.
