MFW used to be THE NG to read for anyone serous about weight training in
any form. My question is, "is it still a worthwhile source of
    information and inspiration?"

This thread occurs once a week when someone comes by, can't immediately
see through the trolls, and whines the same thing. Wouldn't it be more
useful to just POST ON TOPIC and see what happens?

People are still here. You can tell because they all show up to whine
about how dead this place is. They may not be sitting online waiting
for the next post, but they check it every day or so. I bet you could
get them by putting "Ping" in the name. Really, usenet isn't dead. It
just takes a bit of lurking to learn who is worth listening to and who
    isn't.

We've only got a few trolls and a few troll-baters. Figure out who they
are, avoid them, and you'll be fine.

So, you're not someone who has whined about so-called trolls? Just
trying to get that clear picture.

How is replying to a troll-whiner on topic? And what constitutes
on-topic for this group? It varies widely and that's okay. You,
however, are someone who has complained about what you consider to be
troll-ness or troll activity and yet you post in response to those
    so-called trolls left and right.

Thank you for monitoring everyone's behavior.

And what then will you be?

Three great posts in succession Curt, all telling it as it is.

You are a great asset to this Group, which despite all the naysayers'
gloom and doom *is* still a great forum, and you have been a great
stabilising influence amidst those looking to apportion blame for
whatever they see has gone apparently wrong - which is mainly their
loss of control of the Group.

Keep up the good work old chum and really have a great Christmas - you
    know I intend to! ;o)

Great advice, Dolly. But . . .when I want your opinion . . .I'll give it to
    you
