Green Gear Bike Friday of Eugene, Oregon builds the Sat R Day

As to "very light weight", I have no idea what a 'newbie' considers so. My
(Green Gear Bike Friday) DoubleDay folding tandem recumbent is in the fifty
pound class. It is my impression that weight conciousness is driven by the
eXtreme(tm) marketeers/media, that is, by those with nothing but 'extreme'
to sell. My thirty-five pound class recumbent single bike, a Ryan design
Vanguard built by Longbikes, has more than 35,000 miles of pleasure under
its wheels. YMMV.

Can anyone advise if there is a recumbent (sp?) bike that is
very lightweight and easy to disassemble/reassemble for shipping?I would like to find something on the used market. What are the
probabilities I would be able to do so and where would be some
good places to look for one?
