I am a newbie here and know practically nothing about bikes. Can anyone advise if there is a recumbent (sp?) bike that is very lightweight and easy to disassemble/reassemble for shipping?
I would like to find something on the used market. What are the probabilities I would be able to do so and where would be some good places to look for one?
A "very light" recumbent is less than about 11 kgf/24 pounds. These are quite rare, and there are none that easily disassemble/reassemble. The closest might be a Lightning Voyager (S&S coupled), but will not weigh that little unless it is a small frame size with very lightweight components. Finding anything used that meets your criteria is unlikely.
