I'm tired of the nose of my bike seat massaging my, uh, private parts. Not
that I mind having those parts massaged but I prefer the massaging be done
by a person of gender different from mine, preferably about half my age with
    nice, firm t -- oh, wait, that's not the point . . . .

    Bike is a Schwinn Suburban 26-inch 7-speed.

How old is the bike? The reason I ask is that bike seat design has
progressed quite a bit over the last 10-15 years. The answer to your
problems may simply be a new (or at least new to you) conventional
saddle that is much more comfortable to you. You can usually find a
pretty wide selection at a decent LBS for $25-35.
