I have looked on Wiggle and Chain Reaction but there are so many ;-) I am looking for a comfort saddle at a *sensible* price to use in recreational cycling, any recommendations?
Brooks Conquest - moulds to your bum like nothing else, will outlive any other saddle and sprung too for long rides.
The Aston Martin of bicyle saddles! I've had one for 4 years and love it.
Hope this helps,

I'm delighted to hear that others are using Brooks saddles on mountain bikes. My LBS were horrified that I wanted to put such a traditional saddle on my Scott USA mountain bike. I must confess I took great pleasure in their reaction. I've been contemplating adding a Carradice cotton duck saddle bag too for long day rides - that would horrify their fashion conscious staff even more I should think!
The Conservative Party is now dead. The corpse may still be twitching, but resurrection is not an option - unless Satan chucks them out of Hell as too objectionable even for him.

Thanks to everyone for the replies 🙂 I have went for a Specialized BG2, it should do the job.
I do hope you gave it a good sit-on first. I found the BG saddles pretty torturous... :-(
