FWIW, I tried moustache bars once--they came on Bridgstone roadbike
that I once owned. Long story short, I tried to like them, but
eventually had to admit that they were just a terrible. I swapped them
out for regular road drop bars.
IMO, moustache bars are as practical as coil-spring seats, biopace
chaingrings, fake gas tanks, and big rocket-shaped lamp nacelles. You
can spend the rest of your riding days figuring out how to make those
bars comfortable--but why bother?

Well, we clocked about a thousand miles with the stoker on a sprung B-67
in September '04 - how much more practical do you want?
