I was one of the respondents from the CTC bulletin. I had an e-mail
from Severin this morning that read:

    Here are some questions:
    - Are cyclists who jump lights and cycle on pavements making the
    situation worse?
    - Are local councils, the Govt and road safety groups doing enough to
publicise the law on advanced stop zones, cycle lanes etc?
    - Should cyclists be less chippy and less reactive when faced with
    poor driving?
    - Should cyclists be taken off the road, and given more physically
segregated space, or given far better support and protection as
    ordinary road users?

That's funny, I could have sworn he said he was from the Independent,
not the Daily Wail. I must have been mistaken because a journalist from
a reputable newspaper would not stoop to such tactics.
