Ever hear of toilet training? Basic training in the military?

Humans have to be trained in how society works. You have to be taught
to be polite, to cover your mouth when you cough, and how to act
around other people. Ever work at a preschool? People are not that
far from monkeys and it shows when you get a bunch of three and four
year olds together.

My parents taught me, without reliance on threats from a deity, that I
should go through life treating others as I would want them to treat
me. This was reinforced by their own actions, which my siblings and I
learned from.
