I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a low battery first showing itself by displaying lower speed.
My bike computer works OK, but it reads much slower speed, and intermittent.
It doesn't seem to be the contacts, and the pickup is still in the right spot.
My old Cateye Micro computers always read low when the battery gets week. The computer starts missing pulses from the reed switch. You can tell because it will usually indicate 1/2 of the actual speed, meaning that it's only seeing every other pulse. No big deal; a new battery fixes it every time.
