    Hi-
I have been low carbing for 10 full days. I have lost 10 pounds! I am so
    excited.
I was just wondering if any of you know the best time of day to weigh
    yourself.
Just to see I have been weighing myself about 30 minutes after I wake up,
then after I work out (I weigh less then) and also when I get home from work
in the evening (I weigh less than too)
I know I shouldn't weight myself that much, I was just seeing how my weight
changes thru the day. The good thing is I weigh less in the evening than in
    the morning.
When do you guys weigh in? What is the best time of day to do it, so you are
    the most honest with yourself?

I usually weight myself in the morning and in the evening. I weight the
lowest in the evening because I'd been drinking coffee all day long,
which dehydrates me. I also tend to exercise in the evening and I lose
quite a bit of water because of that, too.

Weight yourself as often as it's working for you. Some people obsess
about the minute gains and losses and they should refrain from weighting
themselves too often as it does them no good, head wise!

Actually, if you regularly drink coffee all day long, then it doesn't
dehydrate you....you'd have to drink an unusually large amount for you to
    get dehydrated.

Maybe you weigh less because you don't eat that much food throughout the
    day...

Maybe you're right. I tend to eat a lot in the evening. Bad habit I
    know.

Actually, as long as you don't overeat (for the day), I don't see a problem
with when you eat. If it suits you, eat later in the day. It all averages
    out in the end.

Well I certainly hope it does. Fingers crossed. :-)
