What is the best time of day to do it, so you are
    the most honest with yourself?

I weigh in the morning after going to the bathroom, but before clothes.
That seems to remove those two variables from the equasion. I
steadily gain weight throughout the day. Sometimes, I eat something
strange that mixes up bathroom time. That has an affect sometimes.
So some mornings, I'm a little more, but I know that I'm still "full of
it." Tuesday night is kids eat free at lonestar so I usually eat a lot
that night, but still low carb. The next day, I'm about a pound
heavier, but it's always gone by thursday morning. And I still get the
    weekend woosh.

I weigh every day, but you'll hear people say that you should only do
it once a week. Whatever works for you. I like every day because I
know immediately if I screwed up the day before, and it's easy to
identify the offending food. Generally, I'm the same weight all week
(if I don't screw up), then lose suddenly maybe a pound or so. And for
some reason, the woosh is almost always on the weekend. When I was
bigger, I could actually feel myself getting smaller over the week.
But my weight still wouldn't change until all at once. So gauge your
weightloss by clothing tightness and belt notches also, not just the
    number on the scale.

Same here. I'll be at one weight for a long time, like 1-2 weeks, then
suddenly I'm two ore three pounds down overnight. Whatever, I'm not
    complaining!
