probably rain for my 25 miles Bike adventure too. (That's usually how
my luck runs)... The problem is......my rain gear consists of AN
UMBRELLA. That's it.I really don't purposly go outside and walk, ride, or do much of
anything when it is raining. I work in an office, I drive when it's
raining and I usually clean my house if it rains all day. THUS....NOT
ONE PIECE OF RAIN GEAR.I haven't owned a rain coat since I was in grammar school. I don't even
think I have sensible shoes for the rain. When I walk on the track I
wear my sneakers...BUT I DON'T WALK THE TRACK IN THE RAIN. If it is
raining I go to the gym. Get my drift here, I own absolutely nothing
to stay dry in the rain. NOTHING!Now if you were me, and you had to walk 10 miles in the rain...then
maybe bike 25 miles in the rain in a few weeks. What would you buy? I
have to buy it today. I am thinking I should buy rain gear that is
suitable for walking and riding.[snip]
Fenders (for the bike)
Scott
I bought a fender for the front a few weeks back. It is removable
since I leave it outside in the big city and stuff on bikes tends to
disappear. This way I just take it with me.
