I want to start measuring how far I'm walking and would like to
buy a pedometer. Someone said they were giving cheap ones away with
the salads at McDonalds. But I'd like the brand name of some good
quality pedometers that people are actually using and getting accurate
    measures out of. Thanks.

I got a couple of cheap Healthometer pedometers for free in
Slimfast handout packets that were in all the shopping bags at a
local healthfood store a few weeks ago. I haven't tried one out,
but if you want one of these, Lee, I'd be happy to mail it to you.
Like Debbie, I couldn't find any reasonably accurate ones at the
sporting goods store (see below), when I set them to count paces.

    Jamie,

In retrospect I would like one of those pedometers to play around
with. I sent you an email earlier at what I believe is your real
address. But if it was a spam trapper instead of a good one email me
    at:

"pedometer at lowcarb dot org" so I can give you my home address. I
can send a check or use Paypal to cover any expenses. Thanks bunches.

I'll pick up a padded envelope tomorrow. I don't think it would need
more than two stamps, and I've got plenty of them.
