I want to start measuring how far I'm walking and would like to buy a pedometer. Someone said they were giving cheap ones away with the salads at McDonalds. But I'd like the brand name of some good quality pedometers that people are actually using and getting accurate measures out of. Thanks.

I haven't tried one out, but if you want one of these, Lee, I'd be happy to mail it to you. Like Debbie, I couldn't find any reasonably accurate ones at the sporting goods store (see below), when I set them to count paces.

"pedometer at lowcarb dot org" so I can give you my home address. I can send a check or use Paypal to cover any expenses. Thanks bunches.
I'll pick up a padded envelope tomorrow. I don't think it would need more than two stamps, and I've got plenty of them.
