Sounds good. I Have stopped early runs into work now as so much of my route is unlit. You dont happen to know if there's a version with longer battery life and similar performance do you? I need a good three to four hours plus.
I don't normally go around testing headlights, was just lucky to pick those ones up a while ago.
The battery pack on those can be unplugged from the lights (for charging) so you could carry 2 battery packs strapped to the crossbar & change over part way through. FWIW, the battery on those is a standard (but not very common) big square one.

I've been using mine for some time now, am on my third battery (GBP5) and the lights have LOTS of gaffing tape holding them together. I'm on an unlit rural path for most of the commute and need the full beam. After a dark and miserable commute home one night after the battery ran low, I now keep a cheap charger at home and the office, which is easier and lighter than a spare battery.
