I didn't leave them off as an intentional slight, Tom. It was mere
ignorance of the name of their battery brand. Later, after the usual
suspects have called me a liar, I shall add the real reason, which is
literary, that in my line Rayovac wouldn't scan.

Not to forget Hahnel, the German battery makers, who have an office
right here in my town. Come back, John Betjeman, all is forgiven.
