As you approach Barresdale Bay you will come accross a city of tents! A football crowd seeking wilderness!
Depends on when you are there. I've walked in and back out via Barrisdale 3 times in the past few years. Out of the 6 times I passed the site I never saw more than about 4 tents and on a couple of occasions I think there were none at all. Each trip was in June or July but - probably most significantly - none was at a weekend. --
