Rather than start a new thread I'll ask my question here.

I'm 5'6", and I need some KH leg armor. From right above my ankle to a
couple inches above my knee (where the KH armor should be I think) is
about 19". According to the height measurements on the KH website I
should be a medium, but I've heard people saying that the pads are a
little small. Then someone who is 5'2" said they have mediums that are
slightly big, which makes me think I should get a large. What size
    should I get?

Keep in mind I'm growing pretty fast and I want them to last at least a
    year or so.

    Thanks.

Go with the large for sure. I'm about 5'8, so was on the cusp of
medium/large. Went with the medium and they're a little small. If
you've got a lot of growing to do as well, then you might as well get
the large. You could always cut bits off if they were way too big
(which they probably won't be), but can't add them on.
