Hi everyone. I have a few basic questions to ask. I'm a 22 year old male, 225 lbs, 6'2", bmi of roughly 29-30. I'm considering changing my diet to 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fat with 1800 calories. I have figured out how to do it with 5x cheese sandwiches on whole wheat and 5 scoops of protein powder. I've lived most of my life with maybe 10g of protein consumption per day. I just learned a bit about nutrition and am trying to incorporate it into a gym plan.
Wow, that's quite a limited diet, man!

Yes.

2. Should calcium supplements be taken after much delay after the multivitamin?
Why would you want to take calcium supplements?

3. How safe will this regime be (I've never had that much protein ever)?
Make sure you drink plenty of purified water (reverse osmosis is the best) and supplement with a good multimineral.

4. Can muscle soreness and stiffness be attributed to longterm lack of protein?
I'd advise drinking organic tropical juices such as pineapple or papaya. Eating raw cheese, ice cream, butter, coconut products to taste, dark chocolate, plain whole yogurt, an egg a day and fruit I gained nearly 30 pounds within a month or so. Just stay away from fried food, and highly unsaturated oils in general. Meat should be boiled or eaten raw (after bein frozen for at least 2 weeks). Protein powders seem to be bad news. There is the potential for a neurodegenerative disease. A little whey powder from Metalife (I forgot the exact name of it, but it's not denatured) is okay. Serotogenic protein is what you want to avoid, so boiled shellfish is okay, but stay away from the usual meat cuts and fish. Take calcium citrate 10 minutes before a meal. I do that, and then take vitamin D with the meal, and magnesium citrate afterwards. It worked great (I had severe osteoporosis and weighed under 100 pounds).

I think FDA pulled this statement back a while ago, but I'm not sure. Even industrial very low temp freezing does not kill all parasites. A regular home freezer can certainly not kill all parasites.
