  1. When I heard about the sore muscles, I wondered if you are taking a statin
    drug -?

Googling will provide a number of daily protein calculators. They vary a
bit, but one should be able to find a useful number. For myself I like to
get about 70 or 80 grams per day.

Hi everyone. I have a few basic questions to ask. I'm a 22 year old
male, 225 lbs, 6'2", bmi of roughly 29-30. I'm considering changing my
diet to 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fat with 1800 calories. I have
figured out how to do it with 5x cheese sandwiches on whole wheat and 5
scoops of protein powder. I've lived most of my life with maybe 10g of
protein consumption per day. I just learned a bit about nutrition and
am trying to incorporate it into a gym plan.

    My questions are:

    1. Should a multivitamin be taken with food?
    2. Should calcium supplements be taken after much delay after the
    multivitamin?
    3. How safe will this regime be (I've never had that much protein
    ever)?
    4. Can muscle soreness and stiffness be attributed to longterm lack of
    protein?

    Thanks in advance,
    Steve
