Quoted message said:I had a stress test and the cardilogist said that my injection fraction was
47%. Based on this information he is telling me that I have early cardio
myopathy????
He does not know what caused it.......Prior to this I was a very active
person, running and working out at the gym.....so what can I expect with
this conditon.....is it going to get worse????? is it curable????? with
what ?????? should I get a second opinion????? is it related to dental
disease.....or viral or bacterial causes????
As someone else noted it is ejection fraction. Also, as another person noted
you really have to provide more information. Why were you seeing a
cardiologist in the first place?
In my case, my ejection fraction measured with an echocardiogram has improved
from about 45% to a little under 55% over 12 years - which I attribute to
medicine and regular exercise.
