Family means the world to me. One of the reasons I decided to not marry my former fiance is that he made the statement "we're not going to have to spend much time with your family, right?" Told me right then and there that this was a huge mismatch, for both of us. Of course, there were quite a few other indicators as well :-)
Dodged that bullet and haven't regretted it for so much as an instant.
