What a terrible lack of courtesy! As Greg mentioned, now you know not to
and don't have to invite them again. Impossible that every single person
had an "emergency"; they simply have no common sense.
Or common courtesy! That's just tacky. They lost out on what sounds
like great food and won't be invited back for more, I can imagine! I
worked with a group like that. They were nice enough, but twice, even
though everyone on my team said they would go to a certain event, I
wound up being the only one who showed. I don't know why people are so
rude.
