How can 187BPM be fine, or normal ? That's extremely high. ... Is there
something wrong with my heart ? Should I be concerned ?

How many years did you lay on your sofa watching TV?

With a BMI of 24+, you are rather heavy. Especially for your age.
I suspect you are just out of shape.

Try 30 minutes of activity (run/walk as needed to keep heart rate
somewhere near 160), about four times a week. Run a little, then
when the HR goes above about 165, slow down and walk. When the HR
goes below about 150, run some more... Alternate running and walking
    for 30+ minutes.

At first, you will only run a little bit, and walk a lot.

A year from now, you will notice that you are running most of the
time, and walking only a little or not at all.

  2. I have hardly any fat on my body... 18.5 - 24.9 is normal BMI... and BMI
doesn't take in muscle in it's calculations. I don't "lay in front of the
TV"... Don't make such accusations... lol... Thanks for the infomormation
you gave me though, I'm going to start that 30 minutes walking a day.
