My favourite (for winter use only) is the HH merino top, looks and
feels like a thicker version of the original smelly helly, but without
the smell (even after wearing for a week). Too hot for year-round use
though.

I have a couple of Icebreaker ( http://www.icebreakernz.com/index.html )
merino wool shirts,one lightweight and one heavyweight and find them
excellent.Nice and warm and don't smell.Avalabel from various outlets.I got
mine via the web from Needle Sport in Keswick,free p & p as well.
