Buy ground beef, the fattier the better. (we bought some yesterday for $0.99/lb).
Add spices and salt to taste and knead for a while.
Break into little pieces and "sautee" on a frying pan.
Very delicious, and our kid liked it also.
I think we do this, too, Ig. We sautee ground beef as if we were making sloppy joes, but don't add anything else except maybe mushrooms) and just eat it that way.

I've been eating gb that way for years. Of course, I pour off the extra fat - even now.
