  1. After harbour bridge, take north sydney turn off and ride up to Miller st,
ride up to North Sydney oval, follow pathway across park, it will take you
to a set of lights, go over the crossing and onto the next pathway, that
will take you onto the Warringah expressway at a safe spot where the buses
stop, you can then easily carry on to the
    Gore Hill expressway.

It's [the bike/breakdown lane], too narrow north bound IMO past

    | Hi all,
    |
    | I was down in Sydney for about 6 weeks and in spite of query
    | with Bike NSW and Bike North, I have yet to find a way of
    | getting on to the Gore Hill Expressway (North bound) from
    | the Sydney Harbour bridge. I know there must be a way because
    | I can see bike signs heading north in a car on the Gore Hill
    | Expressway. I have ridden on the Pacific Hwy itself but that's
    | on a Saturday. Riding on Pacific Hwy on a weekday in Northern Sydney
    | would be sucide. I have been shown some back streets but they wind
    | all over the place. So does anyone out there know?
    |
    | Thanks in advance
    | Anthony
