I'm one step ahead of you !! Two nights ago a box arrived from
Nashbar with some $3.90 teflon cables (both brake and derailleur
cables.) The trick was to buy them onsale and use a 20% discount code
(sorry, it expired 3/07/05) to get the price under $4.00.

My preferences are :

Dia Compe BRS black or white teflon full brake cable sets, $9.95
(performance, nashbar)

Nashbar cable sets, $4.95 - 10% coupon (find it on the internet.)
Also available cheaply from www.biketoolsetc.com.

I am especially happy with the $7.90 Campagnolo Omega 19 clincher rims
(475gm) that came with my -20% order from bike nashbar. Also like the
$8.20 Selle San Marco Rolls NOS saddle a whole lot... *grin*.

Ah, but there's a 10% discount code (CR201) good until 3/31/05.
