I don't know what's going on with the gallery. Gilby has been keeping a
low profile recently.
Anyways, it could be more than just a trivial problem. The gallery here
is getting pretty large and the gallery software was never really
designed for such a large collection of galleries and photos. We could
have simply outgrown its abilities.
The Gallery software is an open source software project at
Sourceforge.net.

The Gallery software here is version 1. They're working on the Gallery
version 2. Version 2 is currently in Alpha. The Gallery 2 should be
better able to handle the number of galleries here once it's released.
So we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe Gilby will chime in and let
us know what's going on.
I doubt the gallery is gone for good. I'm sure it will be back.
