You should see a traditional Italian funeral setup. Think of everything
you ever saw as Italian food. Good. That's in the kitchen. The rest of
the house has everything else.
And nowadays, with ethnic mixing, it can get very interesting, indeed.
In our family, we have maybe a dozen different cultures represented.
Proper pirohy (or "pierogi" from the Ukranian contingent) would most
certainly be there. But no sandwiches. Plenty of bread, lots of
fillings. Make your own to suit you. Or not...
