I'm not able to picture that scenario, myself. And they are checking
my purchases; they eyeball my receipt against what I have in the cart.
I don't get it because if I was able to smuggle something past the
cashier/'bagger', I sure wouldn't put it into my cart before I got to
the security receipt checker.
