Not really, northern europe was the last area for roman occupation and just spotty at best. Grain was in use at least 4000 years ago there and perhaps much longer. While it was not as bread, grain was in use 35000 years ago in the area where Jesus lived, but it was certainly in use around 8 - 9000 years ago as bread in the same area.
