I have looked yet haven't found a usable spam filter for my newserver
yet. Anyone know how to spam filter using slrnpull, slrn, or
leafnode? Or do I have to install a real newserver (not that there
seems to be much out there for that, either)?
"man 8 applyfilter" is a good start if you're using Leafnode. My
/etc/leafnode/filters file is :-

through my /var/spool/news/aus/bicycle and I don't _think_ I saw the
original post so either I'm blind or something worked...:-)
For e-mail spam you may want to have a squint at Spambayes at
http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/ which is VERY, VERY effective.
