It used to be amusing, now it's just embarrassing.
Col du Portillon is the "border of France and Belgium". Euskatel-Euskadi are being awaited at the top of "Luz-Ardiden" today.
From yesterday: "73 kilometers per hour is...let's work it out exactly...45.6 KILOMETERS per hour"
So what if he made a mistake or two in his commentaries. I just wonder how good you would be in commentating on the tour. Any sane person would know he was working out kilometes to mile per hour, and to us who live in kilometre countries it is appreciated. I don't know why you should expect perfection in the commentaries as they both do a great job. How that could be embarrassing to you is bordering on the ridiculous. Get a life and enjoy the tour, like the rest of us are. Ro,

I liked when he said in stage 11 that Armstrong said that Levi is in the best shape of his career and can expect a good showing. So if Levi tried to break away from the Discovery led peloton, Armstrong would probably let him go because they're neighbors.
These guys live in Spain, not Mr Rogers neighborhood.
