gave was an example without using the context. E.g. a college professor
might same something along the lines of "If all of you remember when I
alluded to the functioning of a CNS being somewhat similiar to that of
a car." An allusion can be a indirect reference, but it is mostly used
in universities (which apparently you'll never know of) as way to help
the kids relate to the subject matter. It is used as a example. So u
alluded to Emeril when you said I said BAM just like him...its a fu
