I keep my bacon drippings in a ceramic pot in the fridge, appropriately called - Grease. Fry eggs, make gravy, whatever I want, even for first aid.
Ok, so I have turkey one day and then decide to fry some bacon the next. Do I need a separate pot in the fridge or is it ok to mix them???
Dazed and confused...
Are you asking if it's okay to mix turkey drippings and bacon drippings? Up to you, although I wouldn't - mainly because I use my turkey drippings to make turkey gravy to go with the turkey and mashed potatoes so I wouldn't ever have turkey drippings, but also because I just wouldn't want to mix flavors - not that the flavor would be bad I just would prefer to keep them separate. (You mean to say you ate turkey without gravy and mashed potatoes? Gasp!)
