Let's say 5 very large muscular men surround me and 'ask' me for my bike.
The universal standard (in the US) in that situation is: Given the circumstances, would a reasonable person feel that they *will* be physically attacked if they fail to comply with that request? It's "will", not "might" because I might wake up rich tomorrow but it's not reasonable to expect I will. <g>
