    That's been my eggsperience also. So far, I've found the best place to keep
    the device is in its box on a shelf... However, I do have 3-dozen eggs,
    expire-date 7/22/04, just waiting to be boiled, so maybe I'll try it again.
    The troubleshooting guide is pretty keen on the freezing water bath method.

    I have to say the science of the thing bothers me. The infomercial talks
    about using air-pressure to separate the egg from the membrane, and they
    show a picture of the air going in the LARGE end, where there happens to be
    an air pocket, naturally. But the instructions say to piece the SMALL end,
    etc. And turning the egg over didn't work either. :-)
