  1. Retro Bob-<< Questions: Do I need a longer axle specifically designed for a
    triple
    or do some triples handle that via the arm ? I'll probably be looking
    at 20+ year old cranksets for this project.

    Other than a long cage derailleur and a little more chain, is there
    anything else I should be thinking about as part of this ? >><BR><BR>

    Longer BB spndle, triple front der and long cage rear der...is all. Front der
    depends on the ratios. I saw a Campagnolo Gran Sport triple yesterday with a
    double front der. very close ratio rings tho-
